We love to get a picture of a family with the kitten they’ve adopted from us!  All pictures are posted, with approval, to the “LOKR Graduates” page, which you can view by clicking the link under “Kitten Gallery”.  If you haven’t seen it lately, we’ve added several new families.  The pictures are quite heartwarming!

This is the first of what I hope will be a number of instructional videos about caring for orphaned neonate kittens.  If there is a particular subject you’d like us to address, please leave a comment and we’ll get to it asap!

Just a few days old, this kitten weighs less than 6 ounces!

Little Orphans Kitten Rescue, Inc. (LOKR – or “Looker”) was established to provide care for orphaned kittens under six weeks of age.  We specialize in bottle-feeding kittens from 1 day old to weaning.  We believe that no kitten should be euthanized because no one can/will care for him.  We accept kittens rescued from feral cats, are found by caring people, or are too young for shelters and other rescues to care for.  When space in our foster care program permits, we will also accept kittens that have been abandoned by owners at local veterinary clinics.
